這是很標準的計算機組織/結構的簡介...
一般學校開的課都會列書單,需要先修哪些課也會提到.
基本上 Digital System這個系列, 在台灣EE大學部的主要課程
應該是從Logic Design開始,
再來是Digital System Design,
中間還可以修些Assembly language, Micro-processor & application
然後接Computer Organization/Architecture(<-其實我分不太出來兩種有何不同)
VLSI/Digital IC Design應該也算這支的吧..
還有一些跟通訊比較有關的硬體電路設計課,
像是computer arithmetics, VLSI signal processing等等
回到原題,我記得當年研究所的時候唸的是下面這本:
David A. Patterson and John L. Hennessy.
