This will mark Dudamel’s first New Year’s Concert with the Vienna Philharmonic and will make him the youngest conductor ever invited for this honor. Since his debut with the orchestra in Lucerne 2007, this ongoing artistic collaboration has been characterized by a notable mutual respect. Musical projects contributing to a deepening of this artistic partnership include several subscription concerts in Vienna, the Summer Night Concert Sch önbrunn 2012 and tours in Europe and Asia. In addition to his numerous concert appearances, Dudamel has also recorded with the orchestra. --
