Thank you for all the kind words about my stories! It is very observant of you to see that I consider separateness , or perhaps I would say loneliness, an important theme. It does seem to occur over and over in my books. That and unfairness from person to person. I always have pictures in mind as I write. But unfortunatly, since I can't draw ,I am dependent on professional illustrators to tell the picture story for me. Usually I don't know them. They are contracted by the publisher. My characters and the incidents I write about are usually inspired by people I know or by news pieces I have read in my newspaper. I usually get the plot first and then fit in the characters.
