"No Longer Human," a classic Japanese literary work, is Osamu Dazai's last
work and is considered a semi-autobiographical piece. Adapted into films,
comics, and other works, it is a world-renowned literary work. Now, Taiwan
has published its first Taiwanese edition of "No Longer Human"! Translator Wu
Meng-ru, an engineer in Japan, translated it in his spare time outside of
work. After three winters, the Taiwanese edition has finally been published,
and he hopes to have more like-minded people discuss translation techniques.
