I was going into my schoolyard, after my girlfriend wanted to break up with me. I was going around the buildings, crying over the road and stopping at the huge library .There is a tower up the library which seemed like deserted. When I looked down all buildings and landscapes on the tower’s veranda, the tower was on a slight elevation above the plain, and I could see the downtown, the road, the plain, the hedges, the fields ; and the line of trees along the main road where the motorcycles and cars were passing. The sun was almost out from behind the clouds now. I still kept looking it, guessing the weather can be serene or not, seeing around the amazing view from Dong-Hwa University to the port in Hwalian City. The clouds were changing into gray. Then very soon it rains a lot and all things are wet through. The night has been coming and I am along again on the tower in the unquiet night. When I decided to leave this cold and dark place, I was looking once more for the splendorous sightseeing but I couldn`t see it very clear. Tonight, the moon is as brighter as an emerald mirror. My nostalgia has come around again, because I miss my faraway hometown. The winter has been cold, transforming the outskirts of Hwalian city into a bleak place. The moonlight shone upon the earth and the wind sang sadly. There are too many couples across the road, passing by the obscure streetlight, looking over the shining stars to promise their love can keep going forever. As star-crossed men and maids, groan that love's debts should be so hard to pay. The morning will be coming soon; the moonlight had gone over when the sun is showing up. A new day has come; I will do what’s right, even without you. --
