of 10 pC due to Rn-222, how long is it before the radioactivity level
decreases to 4 pC, the up-limit value recommended by EPA?
( pC means 3.70*10^-2 disintegrations of radioactive nuclei per second.)
ANS：10 pC (1/2)^(t/3.8)=4 pC
t=5.0 days
3.Explain why photochemical smog is often with reddish color? (Hint: The
color is due to a certain product in reaction.)
ANS：The reddish color of photochemical smog is due to the red color of NO2(g).
N2(g)+O2(g) → 2NO(g)
2NO(g) + O2(g) → 2NO2(g) (Red)
