I am sending you an attachment that may answer some questions that you may have. Please send me your travel information as soon as you can so that I can make arrangements to pick you up at the airport when you arrive. Please do not schedule your flights to arrive between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM as it is very ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ difficult to arrange for you to be picked up. If you have any problems after you arrive in the United States, please call Port Royal toll free at 1-877-769-2571. If you are working in housekeeping or as a resort worker, you may wear navy or khaki pants or shorts; no short-shorts. If you will be working at the Restaurant, you may wear navy, khaki or black slacks or shorts. If you are working in Courtesy as a slide guard, you may wear khaki pants or shorts. If you are unsure which department you are working for, please contact Leslie Hallick at [email protected] for more information. A uniform shirt will be provided to you on your first day of work. You are required to wear non-slip shoes and these will be ordered for you, by Port Royal on your first day of work. The cost of the shoes will be deducted from your paycheck. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question:What is the housing cost, how many students per room, is there a deposit? 租房子的租金？幾個人一間？需要押金嗎？ Answer: The cost for the housing is $250 - $300 per student and there will be four (4) students in each apartment. The apartment has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and stove. The unit is fully furnished. Upon your arrival, you will pay a $75.00 deposit which will be deducted from your paycheck. When you leave at the end of the summer, you will receive your deposit back in full as long as there are no damages to the unit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question:How do we get to work each day? 每天要怎麼去上班？ Answer: Port Royal is still working on the specifics of getting employees to work each day. Answer: Please contact Leslie Hallick at [email protected] as soon as your arrangements have been made to give her your travel itinerary including date of arrival, flight number or bus route, and time of arrival. Leslie or another member of the Port Royal staff will pick you up, take you to the supermarket to purchase food and then take you to the apartment. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: How do I apply for a social security number? Answer: After you have been in the United States for 7 - 10 business days, Leslie or another member of the Port Royal staff will take you to the Social Security Office so that you can apply for a number. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --
