各位前輩好，小弟用的工作站是RHEL4，現在有一台個人固定IP的電腦，OS是XP，
在RHEL4的SERVER上已經安裝了一套軟體，但是還要設定License file，請問可以
把PC上的XP當做License sever，從RHEL4去讀嗎？如果可以的話要怎麼設定呢？

license是.dat檔，以下是該公司的工程師所說的安裝license的方法：
4. copy the attached license file into the following generated directory:
c/share/license/
5. set the environments variable LM_LICENSE_FILE to:
applicationpath/arterisTools/share/license/license.lic
6. Start the license server using lmgrd
7. invoke the tool by typing NoCcompiler in the following location :
applicationpath/arterisTools/bin
問題就在於因為當初申請license的時候，給的host id是PC而不是學校sever的，
所以現在主要的目的是要將XP PC設成license sever，然後讓學校RHEL4 sever來讀。
