"Venus & Serena" by Dave Rineberg Rineberg是大小威在1992-1999的擊球教練(hitting coach) 大小威分別是在1994.1995出道 但真正開始打全年行程是分別在1997.1998 所以這整本書可以說是兩姐妹在還是"儲備明星"時期 由最貼近他們訓練生活的第三人所寫的 最近如果有看到一些值得分享的段落會po上來跟大家分享 有一段是寫1995年 那時候大威一年才打兩三個比賽 他那時候離開家連續參加比賽 When Venus arrived home, it was obvious to me that she was glad to be back. She missed her dog, her mom, and she especially missed Serena. It was like the two of them were twins, and being separated not only upset Venus, but also Serena. Serena's practice sessions while Venus was away were unmotivated and stale. She cut practice short six times during that three-period, claming one injury or another. The truth was, she was slightly depressed and probably a little afraid that big sister was going to go off and become famous never to return again. But Venus did return and so did the spark in Serena's eyes. 當Venus回到家 我覺得明顯的他很高興回家 他很思念他的狗 他媽媽 特別是Serena 他們兩個就像雙胞胎一樣 分開讓兩姐妹都很難過 當Venus不在的這段時間 Serena的練習一點動力都沒有 還有六次減短練球 他總是說他有傷 但事實是他很沮喪 搞不好還有點害怕Venus成為大明星 再也不會回來了 但Venus回來了 Serena的眼睛也再度閃爍著光芒 真感人的姐妹情 -- --
