Not a single two-handed and her left wrist was taped. Serena was all business out there. She didn't crack a smile until 7-5 3-0 Venus had a running monologue with the crowd at changeovers. She playfully accused Serena of gamesmenship, because at 5-5 in the first set, the game was fairly tight, Serena looked like she jammed her ankle, but still hit a winner. Venus insisted that she was concerned for her sister and lost focus. She also said the altitude was making her shots fly, so she was pulling back, and they'd go in the net. Serena looked fit, but looked exhausted at the start of set 2. May have just been the altitude though. Edit Add-on: The quality wasn't that good. Neither of them could keep the ball in play in the first set. I think there were only 3 rallies in the first set longer than 4 strokes. The second set Serena figured out to add more topspin, Venus, despite a suggestion from a local smartass, did not add topspin, and continued to miss all over the place with her forehand. He slice actually looked good. Both struggled a little bit with consistency on the serve, but hit some big ones too. -- --
