Joe Ingles played himself into a rich four-year, $52-million contract with the
Utah Jazz, and with his newfound wealth, the 29-year-old wants to give back t
o the community.
Joe Ingles在這個暑假跟爵士簽下了4年5200萬的合約，在擁有這筆新的財富之餘，這位2
9歲的球員想要給社區一點回報
"We (he and his wife) are going to do a lot of stuff with underprivileged chil
dren and families," Ingles told The Daily Telegraph's Matt Logue. "I mean, we
don’t need that much money. Nobody in the world needs that much money.
「我們(Ingles與他的妻子)將會替貧窮的兒童跟家庭們做許多事情，我的意思是，我們不
需要那麼多錢，世界上沒有人需要那麼多錢」
"So we’ll spend a lot of time helping out kids and families that need the hel
p. We’ll start in Utah because we are going to be there in a few months, but
then we’ll do some things in Australia."

Ingles added that the most pleasure he gets out of his new deal to remain in S
alt Lake City is knowing that his twins, Milla and Jacob, will be financially
secure. The stability that comes with knowing he'll have an NBA gig for the ne
xt four years is also extremely gratifying.
Imgles提到最讓他對於留守鹽湖城新合約感到高興的是他知道他的雙胞胎Milla跟Jacob，
在經濟上是非常穩定的，同時他也知道自己在爵士的未來4年也將會是有穩定的上場時間
"It still hasn’t sunk in," he said. "I remember reading it (the contract) som
ewhere and I never thought I would be in a situation like this.
「我仍然無法接受這個現實(簽大合約)，我記得我在讀我的合約中哪裡有寫到我有跳出合
約的權利但我從來沒有想過我會這樣做」
「It still hasn’t sunk in」是哩語，不太能直譯所以換一個方式翻譯
"I mean, I’m not going to change. I am who I am. I’m about to turn 30 now an
d I’ve been like that my whole life. People looking from the outside might th
ink that things will change because I’ll have access to a lot more money, but
it won’t happen."
「我的意思是，我並不打算改變，我就是我，我已經要30歲了而我在我的人生中一直都是
這樣，人們從外面看有可能會認為當我拿到一大筆錢後我會改變，但這不會發生」
