Andrei Kirilenko, F, Utah After missing just six games in his first three seasons, Kirilenko played in a measley 41 games in 2004-05 and then missed 13 more games last season. He missed seven after rolling his ankle in November and three more with a back scare in December. However, outside of those two incidents, he was fairly healthy. He posted two triple-doubles last year, and one of those included a 10-block performance. Speaking of blocks, he posted at least seven swats in nine games last year, which is fantasy gold. Kirilenko's potential value is through the roof in Roto leagues, and he's got tremendous value in all formats. The question is, how much of his injury history is a fluke? I get the feeling he's going to be healthy this year and have him targeted for at least 75 games played. He's also fun to own, as you can live vicariously through he and his wife's "arrangement" that allows him to have one free night with a woman each year. His free throw percentage was a serious concern last season, as he hit just 69.9 percent from the line. However, he averaged 78.5 percent in his previous four seasons, so last year's struggles may have been a fluke. The injury risk he poses is a concern, but I think it's a minor one, and he's worthy of a late-first or early-second round draft pick this year. 9. Jermaine O'Neal, C, Indiana 8. Carlos Boozer, PF, Utah & Kenyon Martin, PF, Denver These two guys play the same type of game and have missed a ton of games between them over the past two seasons. I decided to keep my list to 10 spots, so I cheated and put them together at No. 8. Boozer rewarded very patient fantasy owners with some great play late last season after sitting out the first half of the year with a hamstring injury that lasted longer than the Velvet Underground's epic jam, Sister Ray. His 54.9 percent field goal shooting was a career high, and he should finally be healthy for opening day this season. He's played in just 84 games in the past two seasons, but only missed eight in his previous two seasons. He really does appear to be fully healthy again, and his high field goal percentage is very attractive to fantasy owners. I don't think you should be too concerned with his recent injury history at this year's draft, but just hope for the best and be prepared for the worst if you take him. Martin was in and out of the lineup all last season with chronic knee problems, matching Marcus Camby's 56 games played. He had a well-publicized falling out with coach George Karl and his teammates and was subsequently suspended for the playoffs. As if being injury prone isn't bad enough, now K-Mart has added in the fact he hates his coach and doesn't have the support of his teammates. His knees have been a problem for three years, limiting him to 70 games or less in each of those seasons. There's no indication he will be any healthier this season and his strained relationship in Denver could mean he's out of there by the start of the season, or he'll be traded by the All-Star break. He's a bust candidate if taken in the first five rounds, but becomes a huge sleeper pick if he lasts longer than that. His injury status was more like minute-to-minute last year instead of day-to-day, so it's probably best to let someone else have the headache. 7. Jamaal Tinsley, PG, Indiana 6.
