Both sides are said to be happy with the deal, but will still consider other offers as the draft nears. Speculatively, the Jazz would have their choice of point guards between Deron Williams and Chris Paul. Williams would seem the logical fit, but Utah representative allegedly participated in the Blazer's workout of Paul. Portland is said to have their eyes on Gerald Green and Martell Webster. The Jazz would move out two of their three shooting guards in the trade, leaving free agent Raja Bell as their only possible returnee at that position. Patterson would likely come off the bench behind Andrei Kirilenko and Matt Harpring. Second year player Kris Humphries also plays small forward. Another move could be likely to shore up the roster at the two. Monia would likely continue his career abroad until the Jazz were able to make room for him on the roster. The Blazers would add a pair of guards to a team that was desperate last season for shooting. Moving Patterson would thin out the logjam at small forward.
