Timberwolves forward Kevin Love reportedly called Tuesday's firing of coach
Kurt Rambis a "tough situation," said he expects Rambis to find another job
soon and expressed hope that his relationship with Minnesota's next coach will
be stronger.
"You always hope for the best," Love told CBSSports.com on Tuesday night. "I
want to have a great relationship with whoever coaches the Timberwolves or
whoever coaches me throughout my career."
Love had a breakout season last season, earning an NBA All-Star Game berth, but
the Timberwolves finished 17-65, the league's worst record. They went 32-132 in
two seasons under Rambis.
"As far as us having a young team," Love told CBSSports.com, "we're going to
need, I won't say a disciplinarian, but a guy who can teach us how to win and
has been there and done that."
