I'm looking forward to seeing where those ping pong balls fall, and just being able to call and get these workouts set up, to be able to bring them in and put them against guys to try and expose some of their weaknesses, and get down to whom we're going to take with whatever pick we have. PA: Fred, what are you chances of picking in the top two once again? Hoiberg: 11.33 percent.* Things can happen. You can hit that jackpot. We sent Randy (Foye) out there, and at about 7:30 p.m. tonight we'll know our fate. *The Wolves have a 5.3% chance of picking first, and an 18.3% chance of landing in the top three. PA: What do you think of Mike Conley, the Ohio State point guard? Hoiberg: I'm not going to get too specific guys, I hope you understand that. I know the impact you guys have on the league. I will tell you that there are 10 guys that we really like in this draft. It's going to be important for us to bring them in to interview and test them, to put them in situations where we think they'll either thrive or it'll expose their weakness. It's going to be an important couple of weeks up until the draft on June 28. PA: Like the NFL, do we do a first-round draft board, and do we stay true to our board? Hoiberg: We do have a board. We have our initial rankings, and we group them into groups of five right now. You get closer and you watch more film on the guys, do background checks and call coaches, beat writers and teachers just to try and get as much information as possible on these guys. As you get closer, you continue to get your draft order together, and then the week before we should know exactly whom we're going to take in all the scenarios that could happen, and if there are possible trades that could be involved.
