If Foye plays for the Wolves' summer entry, eager to improve, he will be back where he was named MVP of the competition last summer. The Wolves have committed to the burgeoning offseason developmental competition in Las Vegas, which is expected to grow from 16 teams to 20 this year. "It's very helpful, having all the teams in one spot," said Rob Babcock, Wolves assistant general manager. "It's very convenient -- you don't have to fly around to a lot of different places to see players." Might it be too big? Last summer, the Wolves' five games were spread across nine days, so all the teams could be accommodated. It might take longer this July. "You just need five games, so if you get six teams, you're good," Babcock said. That's how the Wolves ran their own summer league in 2004 and 2005, six teams playing each other over five days.
