What Lance Armstrong's Retirement Means
for Livestrong
.
Doug Ulman knew this day was coming, the day that Lance Armstrong
would retire from cycling. In fact, Ulman, the CEO of Livestrong, had
experienced it once before. A dry run, if you will. Back in 2005, Armstrong
left the sport he'd dominated, winning seven Tour de France titles, and threw
himself into working for his cancer foundation.
1. Lance Armstrong:
排練、演習，dominate(V):主宰，title(N):頭銜，標題，throw into:投身，cancer(N):
癌症，foundation(N):基金會。
:Susan announced her retirement from football.(蘇珊宣布她已經從足球生涯退休了
。)
3. dominate(V):主宰、佔優勢，dominance(N):優勢，dominant(adj):顯著的，
