: 一 頁數：67頁 21題 : 題目： : The company will redesign a vacuum cleaner it put out in the market : two month ago ------- the many complaints it has received. : A.given : B.were given : C.have given : D.gave : 疑問： : 為什麼答案是A.given? The company will redesign a vacuum cleaner (that) it put out in the market two months ago 後面子句"it put out.....two months ago"用來修飾vacuum cleaner。 後面子句的主詞是公司(it)，被推上市的是vacuum cleaner 既然是受詞(或是賓語)就可以省略that囉 這句子有點像~I will give you a pen (that) I bought yesterday. 後半句: given the many complaints it has received. 後半句it has received來修飾complaints : 二 84頁 07題 : 題目 : Questions ------the recent changes in employeebenefits and eligibility : should be addressed to Mr.Henderson in personnel. : A.concerning : B.oncern : C.concerned : D.concerns : 疑問 : 為什麼答案是A而不是C? Questions [which concern the recent changes....eligibility] [ ]裡面的是修飾前面的questions 在這邊 which V = Ving 以用字來看 一般concern這個字的用法的主動的型態 (還滿常看到的) 譬如說像是 this question concerns.... this paper concerns...... 不然也應該會是 譬如像 this question is concerned with....... 既然空格後面直接接the recent changes 那前面就應該是主動型態-->concern 但因為它在子句裡面--> which concern 就等同於concerning : 三 85頁 24題 : 題目 : Over the last decade, the level of interest in the federal retirement : plan shown by small scale investors -----due to a rise in personal : investments. : A.has declined : B.decline : C.were declined : D.declining : 疑問 : 請問...decline 這個字不是沒有被動式? (不然為什麼不能選C?) 一般形容趨勢的話，不管是什麼失業率還是人口的變化 在用到像increase, decrease這些詞時幾乎都是主動用法 不過要記得加過去式 但這題她有強調over the last decade，所以就要用has declined來強調這段時間的變化 : 四 85頁 28題 : 題目 : We have---- that the market will continue to allow for small business : opportunities, and the unemployment rate will decrease accordingly. : A.confide : B.confided : C.confident : D.confidence : 疑問 : 為什麼答案是D而不是B? --
