"the previous year" points out the subject is somthing happening in
the last year, so it is no doubt that be verb use past time

"yet" is ususally used to describe the unexpected result.

made some progress in the end.
: 疑問： 這句該如何翻譯？ 每次遇到有yet的選項就不會選 @@ 答案是（D）
