(key words match) : : 頁數：p.69 第15題 : : 題目： : : After _____ all his materials, he had no option but to sit back : : and wait for some response. : : (A) submitting : : (B) submitted : : 疑問：before與after這類的時間副詞句子兩邊不是時態要相同嗎??? : : 謝謝大家~~ : 1. : This program is used to scan resumes. : + : This program is used to search for : key words that match. : 單純敘述功能,無關被動或是過去式 : 2. : after是介係詞,後面加V-ing : 例: I took a shower after doing exercises yesterday. : or I took a shower after I did exercises yesterday. : before也是類似的用法 : Wash your hands before eating. : =Wash your hands before you eat. : 這文法很單純,只要記住就好 after可當「介系詞」，但這裡的句子算是分詞構句的用法，after屬「連接詞」 此句屬「分詞構句」 ： After submitting all his materials, he had no option but to sit back and wait for some response. 還原原句： After he submitted all his materials, he had no option but to sit back and wait for some response. 分詞構句的定義： Before/After + S1 + V1, S2+V2. 當S1 = S2 從屬關係的句子環境中，當前後主詞相同，有連詞的一邊要作變化。 變化(1) 省略連接詞 （分詞構句語意不清時會保留連接詞，但because,as... 表「原因」的連接詞一定要省略） 變化(2) 省略連接詞一方主詞 S1 （若前後主詞不同，則保留主詞) 變化(3) 分為主動態跟被動態 結果會產生：從屬句的一方都是留下「分詞」 主動態-->留下現在分詞 Ving 被動態-->留下過去分詞 （being)+Vpp 但being通常省略 題目是主動句，所以我們來看個被動句的變化： 原：After he was driven by hunger, he stole a cake. ==> After being driven by hunger, he stole a cake. ==> After driven by hunger, he stole a cake. ==> Driven by hunger, he stole a cake. 以上三句皆可。 以上只是概述，分詞構句還有更多變化，也是英文考試愛考的題目，所以一定要把 文法書這個章節完整看過一遍，才能全盤了解。 --
