本來想用推文的，
但後來想想回文應該比較清楚，
以下是我在Cambridge Dictionaries Online查到的解釋，
waive--"to not demand something you have a right to,
or not cause a rule to be obeyed"
EX: The bank manager waived the charge (= said we didn't have to pay), as we were
old and valued customers.
EX: If the government waives (= removes) the time limit, many more applications
will come in.
delete--"to remove or draw a line through something,
especially a written word or words"
EX: They insisted that all expletives be deleted from the article.
另外，因為上篇推文章有人問到其他題目
也貼上來給大家參考一下：
hope--
[+ (that)] She's hoping (that) she won't be away too long.
I hope (that) she'll win.
We have to hope and pray (that) the operation will go well.
[+ to infinitive] They hope to visit us next year.
