"The campaign is important because measles can affect a child’s hearing, vision, movement, and development. There are many children receiving the vaccine for the first time because they were in conflict zones and couldn’t reach safe areas, and in those areas, where vaccines were not available", said Aseel Abbas, a health officer and supervisor of the campaign.
