我是陳俊嘉，預計今年十月多會到阿姆斯特丹大學就讀物理博士班。 目前遇到一些與荷蘭校方協調待遇的問題。以下我先附上信件內容。 Since you will receive a grant for your PhD studies, you will not be a PhD student under contract with UvA, but be a “scholarship student”. This different classification does in no way influence your PhD studies, your PhD degree, or your net salary. In case your grant results in less salary + benefits than a PhD student with a contract with UvA, we will be able to pay the missing amount of money from my startup and grants. This procedure was applied often in the past. Yocklang Chong will now contact a specialist from the human resource department of UvA to obtain an estimation of your net salary from your grant. Then we can estimate if money is missing compared to a contract PhD student and if yes, how much. I also asked her to pay attention to the fluctuating €/$ exchange rate, so that we make sure that you receive a bit more money to be on the safe side. It’s just fair that you should receive a bit more compared to other PhD students also because you put all the work in to earn the grant. She also confirmed that you will not have to pay any tuition fee. 目前遇到的狀況是，我本人在台灣有順利申請到教育部尖端科技獎學金，而這個獎學金 資訊在申請前及順利申請上後都有(誠實)告知教授及校方。當初申請教育部獎學金前便 已獲得荷蘭校方錄取，但由於教授的實驗室狀況為預期今年十月中才會從奧地利搬遷過 去荷蘭，而當初取得校方錄取時，教授其實尚未完成與校方的聘任合約簽訂流程，(雖然 依教授的說法是，照既定流程進行中)，因此在取得preliminary admission時，待遇的部 份還未明確訂定。因為校方的理由是，教授仍未是該校的員工，因此還無法出具聘雇合約 給我。 待校方與教授完成聘任和約簽訂以及知道我取得國內教育部的獎學金後，目前系方傾向給 與我”scholarship student“的身份，而非“PhD student under contract with UvA” 。因此我想請問此兩種身分對於在日後在歐洲工作的影響？ 就我網路上看到的資訊，有contract的話，是附保險及要繳稅的，這樣的契約是否比 較有保障？而是否在這方面，其實有一些法律上的規定？ 另外所方傾向依“荷蘭博士生給薪標準”，介於2000~2400 EURO，視我的教育部獎學 金多寡，以差額補足的型式支付我的薪水，但若我本身教育部獎學金42000 USD/yr 換算下來有 2635 EURO/month似乎不太會構成差額空間。這樣一來，是否就變成變相 自費唸博士班？(WTF ?) 原先教授曾經說過如果沒有申請上教育部獎學金，仍會支付我的 PhD合理薪資，但由於本身希望唸博士班的過程中存一點錢，但現在校方的提案似乎大大壓 縮到我原先存錢的打算，因此想請問這部份跟學校該怎麼談， 希望能獲得板上先進們的建議！ --
