Let (X1,X2,...,Xn) be a random sample from the following discrete dist.
P( X1=1) =2( 1-theta)/(2-theta) , P(X1=2)= theta/(2-theta)
where theta ( 0, 1) is unknown. Obtain a moment estimator of theta and
its asymptotic dist.
我目前只有解出 M.E.= 2-2/X_bar
解法
E[X]=2/(2-theat) 轉化一下可得上面答案。
利用 Y大老師提示
2(theta)(1-theta)
Var(X)= ------------------
(2-theta)^2
By CLT √n(Xbar-E[X])→n( 0 , Var(X) )
let g(x)= 2 - 2/x g'(x)=2/x^2
By delta-method √n(g(Xbar)-g(E[X]))→n( 0 , Var(X)*[g'(E[X])]^2 )
Var(X)*[g'(E[X])]^2 = (theat(1-theat)(2-theta)^2)/2
√n( 2-2/X_bar -g(E[X]) )→n( 0, (theat(1-theat)(2-theta)^2)/2 )
