1. If m is the median of X , then it must be the case that
P(X≦m) = P(X≧m) = 0.5
答案是False , 但是該如何解釋? 又到底錯在哪兒?
consider the following questions regarding sampling.
a. The process of acquiring data incurs costs and such costs are often
proporition to the sample size .Yet,we desire to have a lager sample
size , if cost of the sampling is manageable. Why ?
Please give explanations from the viewpoint of statistics.
b. The sampling error is inevitable in sampling . But ,assessing the
sampling error is not trival because the population paramter considered
is unknown . What would be your assessment of the sampling error ?
Please elaborate it.
