1 A point is selected at random from the bounded region between two curves
y=x^2-1 and y=1-x^2 .Let X be the x-coordinate and let Y be the y-coordinate
of the point selected
(a)Find the joint probabilty function of X and Y
(b)Find the marginal probabilty density of X and Y ,fx and fy
2 Suppose that n random integers are selected from {1,2,..,N} with replacement
(a)What is the expected value of the largest number selected?
(b)Show that for large N the answer is approximately nN/(n+1).
3 rv.X 之值域為正整數且動差函數為 Mx(t)=(e^2t)/(3 - e^3t - e^5t)
求 P[X=10]=?
