Kawhi依然會在2016奧運的待選名單之中。 Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, has withdrawn from the Team USA training camp at which the team that will represent the United States in the FIBA World Cup tournament will be selected. USA Basketball on Monday released the list of 19 players who will participate in the camp, including reigning NBA MVP Kevin Durant, of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and former MVP Derrick Rose, of the Chicago Bulls. Leonard, who had been invited to the camp, was not on the list. He has been part of the group USA Basketball identified for its Senior Men’s National Team two years ago but did not participate in its training camp last summer because of an injury. He missed 16 games last season because of various ailments and had soreness in his left knee through the season that required ice treatments after every game. Leonard will remain on the cadre of players from which USA Basketball will select the 2016 USA Olympic team. The FIBA World Cup, formerly known as the FIBA World Championship, is scheduled to begin at various sites in Spain on Aug. 30. The championship game is to be played in Madrid on Sept. 14. --
