歌手:Alanis Morissette 歌名:Ironic 專輯:Jagged Little Pill Alanis Morissette《Jagged Little Pill》：高中開始第一張西洋音樂專輯，CD很貴， 回憶更貴 網誌圖文版： https://www.b88104069.com/archives/4488 高中時口袋裡通常只有幾枚硬幣，那時音樂很貴，一片燙金燙銀的CD要300塊，即使口袋 空空，放學後還是很喜歡逛雄中對面的唱片行，那種沉浸在CD牆裡四處挖寶的滿足感，成 為聯考小子在壓力下能夠大口呼吸的一個小角落。 《Jagged Little Pill》是Alanis Morissette出的成名代表作，記得沒錯的話，是我買 下的第一張西洋音樂CD，花了我幾個星期的零用錢，雖然很貴，但人生一道大門從此打開 ，高中大學時期多了那些英語歌曲的陪伴：理察瑪爾克斯、瑪丹娜、布萊恩亞當斯、麥可 波頓、……，熬夜K書的時候有人唱歌給你聽、嗑睡蟲發作的時候有人唱歌給你聽、考完 試徹底放空的時候也有人唱歌給你聽。 專輯中「Ironic」這首歌很幽默，一個年邁老頭得到樂透後沒幾天死掉、從來不敢搭飛機 的人第一次搭就墜機、結婚的時候下雨、遲到的時候塞車、終於找到完美情人馬上再看到 他的完美妻子……，其實當時我只是個高中生，還算是個資優生，漂亮的年輕小伙子沒有 真正摔倒過，可是聽到Morissette唱著一句又一句矛盾諷刺的歌詞，也會笑一笑這個世界 真的很機車。 現在畢業出社會一晃眼超過十年，不知道鼻青臉腫、頭破血流幾次都數不清了，偶爾再聽 到這首1995年歌曲，中年的我和高中的我重疊在一起，笑一笑，這個世界他X的就是那麼 機車！ 真的買過那張CD喔，那時候正版CD封面翻開是很札實的歌詞本，高中的我在歌詞本圈很多 英文單字，厚厚的英漢辭典查到中文意思，原子筆在生字旁邊小小的寫上註記。不過那張 CD在我有一次搬家大清倉、下定決心將所有CD數位存檔時一整箱賤賣掉了。 所有曾經認真學習、陪我走過聯考歲月的那些歌聲載體，一次全都消滅乾淨。 後悔嗎？有一點，畢竟是學生時代每張三百塊狠心收藏的。這個後悔有點不切實際，現在 YouTube輸入「Alanis Morissette+Ironic」馬上就可以聽這首歌了，還有官方MV可以看 ，所以，你確定要從書架上挑出那張CD、放到SONY隨身聽裡播放嗎？但話說回來，免費虛 擬的YouTube再怎麼方便，還是挺懷念放學後逛雄中對面的唱片行，那種沉浸在CD牆裡四 處挖寶的滿足感…… 口袋裡早已不止300塊，3萬元，可以買一次小叮噹的時光機嗎？ Ironic An old man turned ninety-eight He won the lottery and died the next day It's a black fly in your chardonnay It's a death row pardon two minutes too late Isn't it ironic... don't you think It's like rain on your wedding day It's a free ride when you've already paid It's the good advice that you just didn't take Who would've thought... it figures Mr. Play It Safe was afraid to fly He packed his suitcase and kissed his kids good-bye He waited his whole damn life to take that flight And as the plane crashed down he thought "Well, isn't this nice."
