Cheeks 的約走到最後一年了，目前 GM Ed 並沒有顯著的跡象要續約，
但是 Ed 雖然不願意正面評論 Cheeks 的合約狀態，或是給個期限回覆
，他表示他和 Cheeks 每天都會講到話，溝通沒有問題。
Cheeks 雖然帶兵戰績不甚理想，但是一直以來有著能讓球員凝聚在一起
的好聲名，有位不願透露隊名的球探表示，"即使 Sixers 戰績不佳，每
晚他們還是殺氣騰騰的向你衝來。"
即使一度七連敗，Cheeks 仍舊對他的球員有著堅定不移的信心。直到前
晚，他的子弟兵終於給他回報。

Shavlik Randolph, Rodney Carney, Gordan Giricek and Jason

Sixers will practice in Boston today for tomorrow's game
against the Celtics.
