Kyle's Road Journal KK西遊記 Jan. 1, 2006 happy new year!! so you know how every year there is the first time your filling out a form or something and you write have to write the date? doesn't it feel a little weird? it is now january 1, 2006! there had to get that out of the way.. so the sixers haven't lost yet this year.. gotta try to keep it that way for a while. we are currently in san fransisco. nobody really wanted to spend new years in salt lake city or sacramento, which is who we play on tuesday, so we stopped here for a couple days. we got practice tomorrow morning, then we will take off after that. 2006年1月1日 新年快樂！！你知道每年第一次填表格之類要填日期的那種感覺吧？怪怪的對 不對？現在是二零零六年一月一日！好，這樣我就放心了...所以今年七六人還 沒輸過...一定要努力保持下去。（結果也沒有保持很久= =）我們現在在舊金山 ，因為沒人想在鹽湖城或下一場禮拜二的沙加緬度過新年，所以就來這邊晃兩天 囉。明天早上還要練一次球，然後我們就要離開了。 for those of you who have never been to san fransisco, it is mad hilly here. i mean STEEP hilly.. it's so hilly that you don't want to walk anywhere. obviously going up the hills is not fun, but when you go down its almost worse. you know when you go down a steep anything and you end up walking/running faster than you want to just because of your momentum so you end up stomping to slow yourself down? yeah, thats what you do here. you end up walking sideways to try and fight that.. o.k., maybe i'm exagerating a little, but it is really hilly here. who would have thought a couple hundred years ago when there was nothing here but these hills and the bay that one day it would be one of the largest cities in the country? it's not exactly ideal terrain.. 有人可能沒來過舊金山，這邊亂崎嶇一把的。應該說崎嶇到陡峭的地步...讓你 根本不想走路。當然上坡本來就不太好玩了，可是下坡的時候可以說更糟糕。 你知道如果你要下一個很陡的坡，因為你衝得很快所以最後都會變成小跑步的 狀態，然後如果要停下來，只好一直踏步減速，對吧？這邊就是這種感覺。搞 得你不得不走「之」字形下坡...好啦，我這樣講有點誇張，可是這邊真的很不 平坦。誰會想到，兩百年前這邊除了這些丘陵和海灣之外什麼都沒有，但有一 天它會變成全國前幾大的城市呢？這邊的地形可不是太理想...（KK，沒話題也 不是這樣亂扯吧...） so it's happened to me twice in the last three days. i always remember what floor i'm on.. but i've been forgetting which room. the first time i just walked down the hallway and tried my key in every door until i found the right one. but you feel just a little foolish while your doing with the maid standing there watching you.. so the second time i went downstairst and asked at the front desk. three more cities to go.. 嗯，這三天我已經兩次搞這種飛機了。住哪一層樓我都有記得...可是哪一間房 我老是搞不清楚。第一次的時候，我就一間一間的把走廊上每一道門都試試看， 找到為止。可是有個女服務生在旁邊看，還是怪不好意思的...所以第二次我就 直接下樓到櫃臺去問了。後面還有三個城市要去...（KK在耍笨嗎？） all right, i'm out of here. enjoy your football games, parades, and thinking up your new years resolution.. i've never actually done one of those. maybe i'll start.. -- kyle 好吧，我要先走囉。各位去享受你們的美足賽、遊行，還有去許新年新希望吧 ...其實我從來沒有特別想過，也許我該開始許了... -- 凱兒 上 （先承認你是找不到房間才來po文的再說吧） --
