It's always nice to get away for a bit and go somewhere where no one knows what tennis is......until I saw a little girl running around the pool with an 'I love Sharapova" t-shirt that was a size L, dragging around on the floor. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! 週末時小逃離度假了一下(這裡的"chi"不曉得指什麼？)。能偶爾跑 去沒人知道網球的地方總是滿好的，直到…看到一個小女孩穿著 “I Love Sharapova”大號T恤、在池畔到處跑的樣子…還真是太太 太~~可愛了！ (這樣都能遇到的無奈著，哈。) I assume that I am currently getting spanked from everyone about my withdrawal at fed cup (what else is new!!). But I'm not going to waste time defending myself as if I'm not playing because I've got Hollywood meetings to attend instead. Let's be clear on this...if there's a chance for me to be 100% healthy by the US Open that would not include playing Fed Cup this week because a smart person would assume that a break is necessary after playing tournaments for 7 weeks. But wait, I'm still the bad person.....goooo figure!! 因為聯邦盃退賽，現在應該正接受所有人抨擊中(還能有什麼新的？ ！)。但我也不打算浪費時間來捍衛自己，好像說我不參賽是因為接 受好萊塢的邀約。來搞清楚些...如果有機會讓我在美網時恢復百分 百健康，這機會不包括打聯邦盃，因為聰明人都知道七週參賽後的 休息是必須的...。但等等，我還是那個壞人…天曉得！！ You won't believe what happened to me at the airport in London. Let me give you a little background before I head to the story. For my shoulder strength I have been using num chucks( these two sticks that are connected with a chain) so I left them in my tennis bag 4 weeks ago.....completely forgetting they were still there. Within Europe we flew privately so no one checked my tennis bag. So little did I know that in England they are an illegal weapon! So I'm going through security and the people ask me what I have in my tennis bag. I give them the obvious answer, but they're like no, there's something else in there. So they get the num chucks out, and everyone starts laughing except the security guy, who clearly doesn't think it's funny. So I'm like so sorry I forgot they are in there, it's no problem if you take them. He's like 'oh I got to call the police because this is an illegal weapon'. So we're waiting for the police for 30 minutes, meanwhile all of us are not laughing anymore, especially me! So 2 police officers come. One of them looks at my passport, looks up at me, and asks me if I speak English....from that point on I really thought I was screwed. The other one recognizes me, and asks me what in the world I do with these. After a 5th explanation he gets on his walkie, back to the police station and says 'we've got tennis player Maria Sharapova here, she had num chucks in her bag which she uses for training, can we just let her go without filing a report?' There was silence for ten seconds and then a reply "Are you serious??'. The policeman says 'Yep, It's my lucky day" and hands me my passport back and says have a nice flight. Thanks buddy! (這段超好笑) 你們一定不相信我在倫敦機場發生什麼事。先講點故事背景好了。 因為要增加肩膀強度，所以用了雙節棍(用鍊子連結兩根棍子這樣)， 所以四週前放在包包內…之後也整個忘了。 在歐洲時，因為是私人飛機，沒人會檢查包包。所以到達倫敦時才發 現，它們居然是非法武器！！ 安檢時，他們問網球袋裡有什麼，我就回答最明顯的答案，但他們說 裡面還有其他東西。結果他們取出雙節棍，除了安全人員外…每個人 都開始大笑，他顯然不覺得那很好笑。所以我就很抱歉說忘了這還在 裡面，你們可以拿走沒關係。 但他說因為有非法武器，得叫警察來。所以我們等警察等了半小時， 也笑不出來了，尤其是我！兩個警察來了。其中一個看我的護照，觀 察我，問我會不會說英文，…另一個認得我，問我打算拿這個做啥。 在他用對講機解釋第五次，跟警局講說“打網球的那個莎娃在這，她 包包內有雙節棍說是訓練用的，可以不提報讓她走嗎？”十秒的靜默 過後的回應“你說真的嗎？”那個警察說“對呀，今天是我的幸運日 吧 = =”，於是我的護照還回來，祝我旅程愉快，謝啦！ And to continue with my traveling drama.....I got a call from the car service that picked me up at the airport and said that I left my tennis bag in the car........but managed to bring in the 6 big suitcases instead....smart! Anyways I'm attending the Espy's tomorrow which should be really fun because I'm going with a few of my friends. Camilla is actually presenting an award as well so that should be a good time.
