Being Captain means going ahead as the alpha wolf and standing your ground in difficult situations. The pressure is enormous, when things go wrong, it is you who is responsible. Of course you can’t expect someone to do everything right from the very beginning, it is a position that you simply have to grow into and in which you need to gain new experiences. During my time I learned that you simply have to talk about some things openly and put all of your cards on the table. Perhaps you have to go into a conflict situation, but when you have resolved the conflict, it is to the greater advantage for both parties, which is better than to just avoid the situation and block it out. And good advantage, is to know all of your own abilities and have healthy self confidence.
