Some people believe that a college or university education should be available to all students. Other believe that higher education should be available to good students. Discuss these views, which view do you prefer? explain why? With the increase of the number of universities in Taiwan, education is not only the previlege to those good students or those grew up in relative -ly high-educated family. So, in my opinion, I prefer to agree with the view of more chance of education available to all students or even all people as possible as it could. There are some reasons supporting my view with aspect to person, society, economy and even culture as follows: 1. in personal aspect: it can bring us a live-and-learn enviroment especially for those who are eager to fresh professional knowledge out discontinuing their studying in the childhood because of financial pressure , they can go back university whenever they want, The access to education is not only confined to those excellent students, each one can have same opportunity to gain the knowledge. 2. improving civilization: if the chance of access to education is confined to certain people, it definately has a negative imapct on a nation, literate sense, on average, for example, is lower than the contry with education high-available. If it goes the way, it definately comes along with a drag on civilization. So, with the increase of university, it doesn't necissarily bring the effect in the short run, but it will in long run. 3. in economy aspect: employees can finish their work with the most efficient way learned from univesities, it not only brings corporations cost reduction, but also makes theselves more competitive. So, the economy of a nation is inspird and improved based on the vituous circle. Exept for the views mentionaboved, one point added that the more education available also can avoid to lose a talent only because of not being excellent in childhood or maybe some uncontrallable reasons. So, I vigorously prefer to belive that higher education should be available to all students. --
