Although sometimes an important decision can be decided well by many people, I disagree with the statement that a person should never make an important decision alone. My reasons are as follows. First, making an important decision alone, people my save their time. It is difficult to make an important decision at a moment if many people give their own opinions together. They should choose available suggestions from every one and then discuss that again and again so that the best decision can be decided. However, sometimes there is not enough time to allow people to have a discussion; hence, people should make it independently. For example, when I was a college student, my professor asked me to decide an important decision immediately that was concerned about my research, so I made a choice by myself at that moment, and got an excellent final grade. Second, it is important for people to make a decision independently, because sometimes there are no others who can help you. When people run into difficulties, people who do not have the same experience as you, so that they have no any ideas to provide you make a brilliant decision. For example, when I graduated from university, I want to study abroad. However, people who around me can not give my great advice because they never think about it. Although I knew that I can ask other people on the Internet, people on the Internet may not have the same environments as me. So, this information from the Internet may not suit me. Eventually, I should make this decision by myself. Last but not least, to make an important decision alone, people can develop their abilities for making decision. If people always making decision rely on others, it may lead people to lost their own capabilities in how to making decision. Learning how to make an important decision is based on trials and errors; therefore, people should acquire those abilities through a great amount of training. For example, my parents always allow me to make decisions by my own since I was child. Not only does it let me understand how to decide a great choice, but it also let me acquire more experiences in those false decisions. For the reasons above, I disagree with the statement that a person should never make an important decision alone. --
