You have received a gift of money. The money is enough to buy either a piece of jewelry you like or tickets to a concert you want to attend. Which would you buy? ============================================================================ When it comes to this question, most of people think that they will buy a ticket that they want to attend. However, I will choose to buy a piece of jewelry for myself. Let me present my reasons as following. First, the value of jewelry may increase in one day, nevertheless, the ticket of a concert doesn't have this chance. Once, concert is over, the ticket just become a ordinary paper. However, once jewelry you buy become more and more valuable, you can sell them to get more money and use this money to invest in other things. It will help you to get more money. In one day, you will have enough money to attend every concert that you want. Second, it is music that I am not interesting in. Even you give me enough money to buy ticket and jewelry. I will rather buy some literary books than attend a concert( if you forbid me to buy more jewelry ). For me, books can not only increase one's intelligence but also help you solve the problems that you must face, such as how to break up with your girl friend, or how to negotiate with your superiors about your salary. Comparing concert to these things, concert is so boring. Last but not the least, there is so many ways in which you can enjoy a great concert, such buying their CD. However, you just have one way to get jewelry-buy it. For a singer or a group, they also sell their CD in music stores. I think that these CDs are more valuable than attending their concert. Because I can keep CD forever, but after concert is over, I own nothing. To sum up, there are three reasons that I don't want to attend a concert.
