1. A person you know is planning to move to your town or city. What do you think this person would like and dislike about living in your town or city? Why? ______________________________________________________________________________ The feelings about a city are usually largely different from people to people. From my point of view, if some person I know is having the plan to move to my city, I believe she or he would definitely like living here because of the mild weather and the famous local cuisine. Compare to the California style year-round sunny day, the weather in my city, Hsinchu, cannot be considered as "very good". It still rains. It still gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. However, they all come in a mild way, and that's the nice thing about my city. It rains but rains only a little. No less or no more. For almost thirty years, so far I have never heard any serious natural disaster in Hsinchu. If someone is moving to here, Hsinchu can always promise a safe environment, and, meanwhile, he can still enjoy the poetic of rain and the passion of sunshine. Another favorable thing, that people new to my city should never miss, would unquestionably be the local cuisine, Hsinchu rice noodle. Its unforgettable delicious taste has been well known for a long time and mentioned by a lot of newspapers, travel magazines and TV shows. Even though, surprisingly, there is still no need to go to any fancy restaurant or to pay a fortune before enjoying this cultural food. Whenever anyone wants to have it, it would be waiting just at the booth around the street corner and the price is so cheap that people cannot help to wonder how do they make money from selling it. Combined with all the three merits of approachable convenience, affordable price and delicious taste, I believe it should be the first thing people would think of when mentioning moving to Hsinchu. In conclusion, although most of the time people would face a lot of difficulties moving to a new place, considering the mild weather and delicious food, if someone I know is moving to my city, I believe she or he should be able to fit into this friendly environment and start to love being here without any problem.
