What are the differences between assuption and hypothesis?
For example,
Based on XOX assumption, we conduct our research .....
Based on XOX hypothesis, ......
Or ,
We hypothesize that ....
We assume that ....
Do they have identical meanings or there are scientific
differences, if so, what are they?
