Given the choice between technology has made the world a better place to live or not, it depends on the whole situation around the world. Personally, I agree with technology provides some conveniences during most part of our life. There are several reasons as follows: First, communication is very important to us. We could not throw the cell phone away but use the traditional mail to make contact with others because it may waste for a long time. Moreover, the progress of communication usually brings us some extra function of this kind of technology. For example, cell phones have upgraded from the original talking skills to the ability of surfing the Internet. That's to say cell phones may become micro- computer in the future. Second, transportation plays a crucial role in our society because of its convenience usually makes one city to be decided whether modernize or not. Take some explicit examples, New York which is a megalopolis in the US. Moreover, the subway system often erect the modal of modernize city. As a result, many cities admire the New York City for the design of subway system, because it may bring some direct or indirect effectives and advantages. Thanks to the technology, we would use this technology to discover the engine and the use of electricity then create this miracle. Third, with technology, we could develop some weapons such as missile, tank to defend our country. For example, the GPS system let scientists apply to the cruise missile that enable the missile could se arch the suitable route to attack its target. Besides, if we lack of this technology we cannot sustain the latest information during the warfare. To sum up, we would gratitude to the discovery and the progress of technology, because technology is so important that we could not ignore it. Furthermore, we may expect more and more scientists can endeavor themselves to create better product that make our lives better. --
