標題[寫作班] 托福第16週 raki517 1

Some universities requier students to take classes in many subjects.
Other universities require students to specialize in one subject. Which
is better? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

The policy of universities thinks that students focus on the major courses
will effective improve ability and knowledge of profession. However, university
means the institution of higher learning providing facilities for teach and
research; only focus on the major courses maybe limit develop of students. As
for me, students enroll the differential courses better than focus on major
only.
Universities have many courses that include Science, Engineer, Law, and
manage.That is wasting if students only take core courses. Major courses
are the fundamental of subject, but study more courses that different major
courses can improve background knowledge. In social life, people can understand
what they see else their major. For example, if people take the class of
Computer Science they can solve the problem of the bug when computer attacked
by bug. When people go to mountain climbing, he/she can identify the kind of
tree along the road because he/she takes the Botany when he/she was under
graduate. Arrive on the top of the mountain; he/she can explain the revalue
historic of mountain because he/she even studies the Geology.
In addition, take classes in many subjects could let them think of different
direct on the work. Face the complex question, such as earthquake behavior,
research can't understood the Seismology only, and research maybe need to
study Mathematic, Physical, and Civil help to face and solve the Seismic
problems. Only take core courses of major will forget some conditions should
be consider.
To sum up, some universities think students should be improve major knowledge
and overlook others classes. As for me, I think that students should take
classes in many subject because people never know what place you will need it.
