Use specific reasons and examples to support your position. ============================================================================== Some people believe that our earth already becomes a global village. From the reason, our children should learn another language as soon as possible. However, I think that there are already lots of school courses for children, we shouldn't add some other language courses for them and give them more and more pressure in their childhood. To begin with, take my country, Taiwan, for example, every child should start their elementary school when he or she was seven ages. There are many kinds of courses for them, including math, Chinese, and some moral courses, furthermore, many parents will register some music courses or cram school for their children. Most of time, those children have to spend more than eight hours in their regular and cram school. If we also ask our children to learn a foreign language, it is no doubt that they will have less and less free time to play with their friends and more and more pressure. In order to let our children have a happy childhood, and have more time to do some exercises in their free time, we shouldn't require our children to take more foreign language classes. Additionally, though some people think that children have the better capability to learn a foreign language, there are some examples in our lives disapproving the reason. In Taiwan, it is very hard for people to learn English and acquire some information about English in thirty years ago. Nowadays, some elders still can speak some fluent English by going to the community college to go to the English class. Sometimes, studying is not only a problem about capability but also one relative to determination. If we have the determination, we can solve any studying difficulty. The best example is Grandma Moses, she is one of the most famous painters in recent 100 years, and she started her painting career when she was already 70 ages. This is very unusual and weird for a person to learn a skill in her elder period. As a matter of fact, Grandma Moses's example tells us that age is not the most important problem. From the example, the better capability of children is not a cogent reason to convince us. From the reasons I mentioned above, I can draw the conclusion that even though our children don't learn other foreign languages as soon as possible, it is not a big deal in their lives. On the contrary, if we force our children to take more foreign language classes, they will lose their happy childhood and classes will be the only memory of their childhood. --
