It is known that the topic is not only controversial but also complex that deserves more considerations. In the following discussion, I'll develop my ideas in sufficient depth and details. Some people consider that computers cause more problem than it solves. They believe that computers make people more isolating than before. For example, people tend to send greeting cards through the internet instead of the real card which may be able to represent more sincere greeting and blessing. Besides, the invention of computers makes people rely on these high-technology devices to solve a lot of problems rather than figuring out the answer themselves. In their opinion, computers truly have made lives less simple and pure than before. However, as far as I'm concerned, the computers undoubtedly made our life more comfortable and convenient. In this information age, almost every tasks or chores in the daily life need the support of computers to some extend. For example, I can turn in my final report to the professor instead of dropping in his office in person. It saves my time spending on transportation, and I can use the spare time to do something else instead. Besides, through the computer, I am able to chat with my friends around the world and even see them through webcom immediately. It makes me feel closer to my friends and let us bond with each other closer. Furthermore, the usage of computers may have caused tremendous progress in today's society. It is know that plenty of scientific programs, which may benefit human in several ways, rely on the operation of computers. To give an example, the development of artificial intelligence may help human beings save a lot of energy and time, thus, they can lead an easier life. This kind of technology requires the strong support by computer devices which are delicate and efficient enough. In this way, it is obvious that computers can definitely make our life more progressive. To sum up, it is clear that the reasons I mention above are not only solid but also convincing to support my point of view.
