If people have limited time or budget, it is more convenient to travel in a group with a tour guide than planning the trip by themselves. A tour guide can help arrange the route and transportation tools of the trip. People can enjoy the trip without preparing. Moreover, a tour guide can give tourists cultural and historical backgrounds about the country. People are easy to visit the places, even learn some native language. In addition, it is safer when people are too young to travel by their own. They won't get loss with a group and tour guide. Therefore, traveling in a group is more proper when people have no enough time, budget, or age to travel along. On the other hand, when people have enough experiences and time to preparing a trip, it is more flexible and independent to travel. People visit some remote places to experience local culture as their wish. They can skip some places without comprising with the group members. Something unexpected might happen during the trip. It will be more adventurous and interesting to travel around. For example, last year I went to Hong Kong in a group. The tour guide taught us a lot of information and stories about this city. I was so exciting to visit more cultural scenes and taste the local foods. However, the group took a lot of time to shop rather other activities. Because I still wanted to visit some places, this year I travel Hong Kong again with one friend. We took the bus to travel a lot of natural spots, even made some friends during the trip.
