Which would you choose: a high-paying job with long hours that would give you little time with family and friends or a lower-paying job with shorter hours that would give you more time with family and friends? Explain your choice, using specific reasons and details. ============================================================================= In today's world, lots of people always work overtime in order to earn more money for their family. However, it takes fewer and fewer time to accompany with their family members and their relatives. I prefer a lower-paying job and spent less time on my job rather than high-salary job. The issue of family relationship and my life style illustrate why it is. To begin with, take a movie, click, as example, it describes that a businessman who has a TV remote control, and he always use the remote control to skip some family events which he feel very boring or meaningless. However, in the end of the movie, he realizes that he miss lots of important events, including his children's marriage ceremony, some important family meeting. Furthermore, he feels very regret in the last minute of his life and says "family first." To say the truth, I think that the movie tell us the importance of family relationship, and the businessman also reflect most people's life in today's world. Sometimes, we always disregard our relationship with our family and say some excuses to make our action rational. For example, we always say we focus our attention on our job in order to earn more money, raise the life quality of my family. However, the most important thing which our families care about is our relationship and something which cannot be replaced by money rather than the most state-of-the-art buildings, automobiles, and clothes. If we often ignore our family, it will be a great loss in our life. Additionally, some people believe that money is the most important thing in their life, but I see that the most important thing is those cannot be bought or exchanged by money. For example, we cannot get some really true advices by just pay some money to a staff or someone else. In contrast, the most willing to give us some admonishments is our family and friends. For me, I very care about my family or friend's opinions, so the family and friends are much important. By the way, I thinks our life which is like circle chart, I would like to do everything in my life equally. If I only focus on some part in my life, I would loss the other parts. That fact is that the god give everybody 24 hours a day equally, it is impossible for me to spent more than half time in job and spent much in other things, I prefer to arrange my time equally to do everything. I really don't like to be a working jerk. In conclusion, though money is important in our life, we cannot live in the world without any money. But, money is not the most important thing in our life, there are still other things more important than money, such as family, friends, and healthy. If we just pay attention on how much money we have, it is no doubt that we must lose something in our life. Don't forget the slogan "family first." --
