Doubles - Semi-finals

Nestor: “It’s a great feeling. Hopefully we can carry it through to the
[Barclays ATP World Tour Finals], where we had a not-so-great performance
last year. It’s great to be back in the winners’ circle. We played really
well, beat one of the hottest teams on tour, so it’s a good feeling.”
On winning 70 titles: “It’s amazing. I’m fortunate to have had great
partners. I’m playing well still, even at this age, and hopefully I can get
a couple more years in there.”
Zimonjic: “Definitely more than happy. The way it’s been going since
[Roland Garros], it wasn’t what we’d expected. Before coming to this
tournament I had a lot of problems with my back. It was a question if I could
play. I’d like to thank our physio, Clay Sniteman, for helping me to be able
to play and to compete. To Daniel, it’s been a great week and it’s always a
lot of fun to win the tournament. This gives us some more confidence coming
to defend the titles in Basel and Paris, and also to increase the level of
our form for London. It’s a great start to the indoor season, and looking
forward to the next tournaments.”

ATP WORLD TOUR 250 €575,250 (€650,000 Total Financial Commitment)
Montpellier, France (+2 hours GMT)
25-31 October, 2010 Surface: Indoor Hard
Singles - Final
[3] G Monfils (FRA) d
[4] I Ljubicic (CRO) 62 57 61
Singles - Semi-finals
[4] I Ljubicic (CRO) d [6] A Montanes (ESP) 63 76(4)
LJUBICIC: “Today I didn’t make as many points with my serve unfortunately,
which I also expected because he is a fantastic returner. I think the first
set was the key to the match because I had break points in almost every game
and I couldn’t convert them. He started well in the second but I managed
somehow to come back and win the second from a break down."
"I played a lot these past weeks. I played many matches. I think the match
against Nieminen took a lot out of me this week. I would have had maybe more
energy today if I had won in straight sets but I can’t be sad. It was a
fantastic week for me over here."
