From August 2-9, Roddick will return to the tennis scene after his thrilling five-setter across the pond where he sustained a hip flexor injury. Fully healed and in full form, the Legg Mason Tennis Classic is happy to welcome back the three-time champion. But that’s just the first stop, there are two more before our American hits his hometurf grand slam. The following week, August 10-16, boasts all of the top players since Wimbledon at the Rogers Masters Cup in Montreal, Canada. The 2003 champ will make is seventh appearance at this Toronto-Montreal flip-flop location Masters event as they celebrate their 30th year anniversary. Then, our Texan hops from one Masters to the next. Cinnicinati, Ohio, is proud to host the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters event from the 17th through the 23rd. Andy will play his final “It Must Be Love” USOS event in Ohio before relocating to the east coast and the east side. The day following Andy’s 27th birthday, August 31st for those who don’t know our man is born on the 30th, the US Open begins in Flushing Meadows, New York. The 2003 champ will be in town the week prior regrouping, resting, and stepping into the spotlight for some great appearances.
