Andy Nominated for ESPY Award 2005-07-11 Andy received his second consecutive ESPY nomination on Friday for Best Male Tennis Player. He won this category last year and was even able to attend the awards in Los Angeles despite his demanding summer schedule. Perry is an avid tennis player and played competitively as a teen in Canada, earning the rank of No. 17 nationally in the junior singles category and No. 3 in the doubles competition. You can watch the star-studded show on ESPN on Sunday, July 17 at 9 p.m. ET. The actual ceremony will be taped four days earlier, July 13th at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
