The 39-year-old center spent the better part of the summer this season with the team before a torn plantar fascia led to his release in late October. “Since I’ve been rehabbing I have been getting a lot of calls from a lot of different teams about my services,” Camby told SportsRadio 610. The Rockets are his first choice and has shown interest. “Houston has called,” Camby said. “They are playing good ball right now, they’re right down the street from me, and that would be the ideal situation. ” Camby has been rehabbing with Russ Paine, the same physical therapist who helped Vikings running back Adrian Peterson return to top form in 2012 after reconstructive knee surgery. Camby would not elaborate on which other teams have contacted him. But time is running out for him to sign somewhere. For a player to play in the postseason he has to be added to an NBA roster by March 1st.
