I am listening to his album as I write and Van Hunt does what no other has he infuses funk with soul creating a sound that is so pleasing to the ear and soul. The first track on the album "Dust" is an acclamation of that and the album only gets better as you continue to experience the album. Songs like "Seconds of Pleasure" and "Down Here In Hell (With You)" put him amongst neo-soul royalty. I undoubtedly know that his sophomore album "On The Jungle Floor" will take to higher height than the self titled debut, if even possible...
