Harris has confessed that teaming up with Rihanna for their number one single 'We Found Love' was the best decision he ever made for his career and has helped increase his popularity with the American audience. "It changed absolutely everything. Career-wise it was the best thing that could ever have happened," he told The Sun . "For example, in America my tune 'Feel So Close' came out about three months before." He continued: "But when We Found Love came out, the radio started playing 'Feel So Close' like it was the single after. Then that did really well, it charted well and sold a lot of copies." Harris has previously said that 'We Found Love' was offered to other singers before it was eventually released by RiRi. Leona Lewis worked with producer Calvin Harris on the song, but claims it was given to the Bajan star when she refused to release it as the lead single from the LP. The pairs tracked picked up the Best Video gong at this year's MTV Video Music Awards beating the likes of Katy Perry and M.I.A. Calvin Harris is gearing up for the release of his new album 18 Month, set for release' next week, which sees him teamed up with the likes of Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal and Florence & The Machine. Calvin Harris自己說到 沒有蕾娜唱他寫的We Found Love 他就不會有現在的名聲 (應該是指對於一般大眾來說 他在電音界裡面本來就很有名了) 他說到在We Found Love發行前幾個月 他的單曲Feel So Close已經送電台 但是成績一直沒有甚麼起色 直到 We Found Love一推出之後 大眾才慢慢知道他這個人 Feel So Close才又起死回生 唉唷 兩個人互相啊 We Found Love也算是蕾娜的一個里程碑了!!!! 另外這首歌本來要給Leonw Lewis唱... 結果她拒絕拿這首歌來當作專輯主打 所以他就把這首歌拿來給蕾娜唱了 (中間我記得也有拿過給Shakira 但也是被拒絕了) 蕾娜真的塞到!!!!! 是說Leona唱應該會還不錯喔!!!!! --
