從Loud發行到現在 加州大床一直都是心目中前3名的歌 但說真的 聽了這首歌那麼多次了 還是不能夠完全地了解這首歌在講啥 所以呢 就在剛剛 想到 在國外論壇問了個網友 問說這首歌的meaning 他回說: Well at first she starts singing how close they were. That they were together all the time. And shared everything. 這首歌一開始 她在陳述他們以前有多親密有多甜蜜 他們總是膩在一起 形影不離 分享所有東西 She is talking then about how far away she feels him now from her. About how sleeping in her same bed she feels he is a thousand miles apart (he is so far emotionally.) 然後說著現在的他們距離是如此地遙遠 (心中的距離) 說著即使兩人睡在同一張床上 她仍覺得他與她之間的距離有如1000mile遠 (同床異夢!) They just dont feel the same again. 他們已經沒有以前那種幸福甜蜜的感覺了 And then she talks how she thinks about breaking up. But he gives her a reason to come back just with a touch. 接著(這裡是bridge) 她說著她想要放棄想分手了 但在這時候他碰著她 (應該意指情侶間的那種親密碰觸 比如說深情擁抱這樣) 她又心軟了 她又覺得他應該會再愛她的 She is basically very in love with him.
